*pats on the back* well done then. im considering going to school for photography. im in the same boat as you. i think it would be really cool to go to school and learn the concepts and the technical side of things. ive no idea how to use filters or light meters or anything other than composition and longer exposures lol

i considered attending photography courses, but i've decided to learn all by myself. i am much into my personal style of photography, which i develop step by step and didn't want it to be influenced by some teacher at the very beginning. now i could possibly attend some courses but i don't have enough time and i prefer to spend the money on some photography equipment, than on photography lessons. :)

dang thats really cool. are you hoping to go somewhere with it? freelance it up and open your own gallery kind of thing? ive really only been taking photos seriously since i joined deviantart which i believe is coming up on 4 years this august...just having the eye for good photography is something youve got to have (plus passion as well :] ) then i think you just have to work at it to figure out what works, what doesnt and then work on and learn all the technical aspects bc in the end that will take you where you want to be...
